Se acerca el AirMax Day

Situémonos en París, entre Châtelet y Le Marais donde se encuentra uno de los centros más increíbles de arte del mundo, el Centro Pompidou. Nombrado así en honor al Ex Presidente George Pompidou, este centro alberga más de 100 años de historia en Arte. Pero entre otras, este centro fue idea conceptual que inspiró a la zapatilla que revolucionó el mundo del aire. Hablamos de la AirMax 1.

Si bien Nike utilizaba la cámara del aire desde el año 70’, fue en 1987 cuando el gran Hatfield cuando al ver la transparencia de este centro, decidió mostrar lo que sucedía dentro de la suela y así revolucionó la industria de las zapatillas alrededor del globo. Esta creación transcendió de tal manera a través del tiempo, que hoy en 2016, existen 10 modelos distintos de AirMax sin contar los híbridos 

La zapatilla que cumple 29 años este 26 de Marzo se prepara para un gran festejo. Desde Nike se lanzó la nueva campaña donde se seleccionaron varios deportistas de diversas disciplinas, a quienes se les ha diseñado un par de AirMax exclusivas basados en su estilo y desarrollo. Variando entre Airmax 1 y Airmax 90, algunos de los elegidos fueron Marco Materazzi, Serena Williams, Sergio Ramos, Roger Federer, Kevin Durant, Juan Martín Hernández, Sanya Richard-Ross y Thiago Silva entre otros. Combinaciones cromáticas y de materialidad para todos lo gustos. Pero lo más importante, nunca perdiendo esa esencia.
